Peacefully at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB on Monday, August 25, 2008 at the age of 96 years Iréne passed away. Born in St. Jean Baptiste, she was the oldest of 10 children. She married Omer Sabourin on October 29, 1930. She was predeceased by her husband Omer in 1988. Remaining to cherish her memory are her five Children: David (Rita Sarrasin), Jeannette Komarniski, Emile, Aurore Grégoire, Raymond (Marge Lowe), 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister Alice Bérard, two brothers, Edward St. Vincent (Irene), Fernand St. Vincent and two sisters-in-law Lina St. Vincent, Dellima Sabourin. She was predeceased by her parents Magloire St. Vincent and Apoline Barnabé, sons-in-law, Walter Komarniski and Alphonse Grégoire, grandchild Gilles Grégoire, one great-grandchild Justin Smith; sisters Maire-Ange Hérie (Omer), Fabiana Clairemont (Albert), Fernande St. Vincent; brothers René St. Vincent (Antoinette), Fernando St.Vincent, Nestor St. Vincent, Marcel St. Vincent; brother-in-law Maurice Bérard and sister-in-law Elsie St. Vincent Iréne enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting and spending time with family. Funeral Service will be held at Ste. Anne Catholic Church on August 28, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Father Rene Chartier. Prayers will be held at the Ste. Anne Catholic Church on August 27, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. The family would like to thank Sister Rioux and Sister Forest for their spiritual and emotional support during her stay at the Villa Youville. Elle fut précédée par ses genres Walter Komarniski, et Alphonse Grégoire, son petit-fils Gilles Grégoire, son arrière-petit-fils Justin Smith, ses sours Marie-Ange Hérie(Omer), Fabiana Clairemont (Albert), Fernande St.Vincent, ses frères René St.Vincent (Antoinette), Fernando St.Vincent, Nestor St. Vincent et Marcel St.Vincent, ainsi que son beau-frère Maurice Bérard et sa belle-sour Élise St.Vincent. Les prières auront lieu le 27 aout 2008 à l'Église catholique de Ste. Anne. La messe des funérailles se tiendra le 28 aout à 10 :30 à l'Église catholique de Ste. Anne, présidée par l'abbé René Chartier. La famille tient a remercier la Soeur Rioux et la Soeur Forest pour leur support émotionnel et spirituel partagé avec Irène, ainsi que le personnel de la Villa Youville pour leurs excellents soins.
