A resident of Menno Home in Abbotsford, B.C. passed away peacefully in her bed on December 4th. Born in 1922 in Piney, MB, Annie grew up on the farm in southeastern Manitoba. She attended many summer bible camps and there met her future husband, Daniel Buhler whom she married in 1943. Annie had 7 children, two of which are pre-deceased- Gracie- 1946 and James- 1947- 2010. Annie’s husband, Dan, died in 2004 after over 60 years of marriage. She is survived by sons Ronald, Arthur, Milton, Philip and daughter Lois. She was generous and hospitable and was passionate about missions. She loved Jesus and prayed for her family daily. She was rarely angered and was loved deeply by her family. The memorial service for Annie Buhler will be held Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB.
