Denise Tourond, age 56, of Mitchell, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. She was born on July 29, 1954. Denise is survived by: her three sisters, Orese Sawka at the Riverview Health Center, Beverly Bettof of Winnipeg, Pauline of Stonewall, one brother, Paul in Germany and their families. She is also survived by her family of eighteen years, Peter and Tilly Harder and foster sisters Debbie Irvine and Kerry Kotyk and her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Henri and Marie Tourond, brothers Dennis and Leo, and her sister Noella. The funeral service for Denise will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow the service.
