Peacefully with his family by his side, Douglas passed away on Sunday, November 2 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB at the age of 53 years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Deborah daughters Laura and Brad (Gillies) Robin and friend Derek, mother Helen, brother George sisters Pat (Ernie Motiuk), Kim (Larry Okapiec) Janice (Sid); Christine (Jim Edinborough) and many nieces and nephews. Douglas was predeceased by his father Dan. Prayers will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach on Wednesday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m., with viewing from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. with ash interment at a later date.
