Sidney Maleski passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2008 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB He is lovingly remembered by his wife Olga (nee Paley), his sons Larry (Kim) and Darrell (Jytte); and grandchildren Kerrie, Sydney, Michael, Hannah and Jack. He is also survived by his brother Joe (Mary) Maleski, sisters Jean Shymko, Helen (Joe) Dutchak, Irene Boitson, Emily (Bill) Evans and Olive (Eugene) Ulasy. Sidney was predeceased by his parents Michael and Teresa and sisters Stella Swynar, Pauline Pidsadny and Ann Muckosky. He was born on July 11, 1927 in Trentham, MB. Sidney married Olga Paley on May 7, 1955 in Sarto, MB and they made their home on the family homestead for 52 years. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Sarto, MB. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 6 also at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Interment at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Sarto, MB
