Obituary of Margaret Eileen Boivin

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret Boivin, of Giroux, MB; beloved wife of Aime, of 51 years. She also leaves to cherish her memory her four children, Kathy (Wayne) Sim of Giroux,MB; Paul (Arlene) Boivin of La Broquerie, MB; Lisa (George) Sim of Giroux, MB; Susan (Todd) Paluch of Carberry, MB; grandchildren, Melissa (Chris), Amanda, Adam, Justin (Anita), Cody (Meaghan), Kayla, Ryan, Ashtyn; great-grandchildren, Noah, Holly. Margaret also leaves to mourn her passing siblings, Ruth (Allan) Burr, George Burns, Grace (Ralph) Wastle, Ruby McDonald, Stan (Carm) Burns, Mary-Lou Adams, Jean (Ed) Boivin, Lucy Burns, Diane (Charles) Cyr; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Margaret was pre-deceased by her parents, Alexander & Mary Burns, two brothers, David, Leslie, and sister Barbara; brothers-in-law, Archie McDonald, Lou Vandal, George Adams, and sister-in-law Frances Burns. After many courageous battles over the years, Mom succumbed to her battle with cancer. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Our Saviour Catholic Church, 365 Loewen Blvd, Steinbach with interment at Heritage Cemetery. We would like to thank the staff for all the home-care, palliative care and medical care, Mom has received in the past years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald Street; Wpg., MB R3L 0K6 or Cancer Care Manitoba, Room ON109 – 675 McDermot Ave.; Wpg., MB R3E 0V9
