It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Joey. We lost him Thursday morning, June 2, 2011, in a tragic car accident not far from home. Joey touched many lives with his winning smile and positive attitude. So much love goes out to him and we eagerly await the day we meet again. He is survived by parents Boyd and Martha Penner, mother Brenda Friesen, brothers Andy, CJ and Ty-bo, sisters Shawna, Shellia and Catleen, Grandmas Krahn, Peters, Penner and Friesen, nieces Haley and Jada, nephews Kian, Caden and Marrick, many aunts, uncles and cousins. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Tuesday June 7th at 7:30pm. The funeral service will be held at the Blumenort EMC on Wednesday, June 8th at 2:00pm.
