Suddenly on February 12, 2009 at St. Boniface Hospital, Peter passed away at theage of 71 years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Nellie (Kantimer), daughters Rachel (Joe Blair), (grandchildren Josh and Brandon), and Barb (Melvin Lischynski). He was predeceased by his parents Nellie and John, daughter Ida in infancy and his brother Harry. Prayers will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach on Tuesday, February 17 at 7:30 p.m. with viewing at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Nativity of St Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Senkiw, MB with interment at the parish cemetery.
