Frank Harder, born on November 29, 1941 to Frank F. and Aganetha Harder, died unexpectedly on May 27, 2007 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB. Dad was baptized in 1963 upon confession of his faith at the Rosengard CMC Church. At 20 years of age, he met the love of his life, Agatha Pries. They were married July 11, 1964 in the Wiedenfeld CMC Church. Together they had four children: Roger & Cheryl, Tashima, Nathaniel, and Tyrell; Joanne & Bruce, Alexander and Elizabeth; Debbie & Michael; Sandra & Chris, Emma. Dad worked as a truck driver for 12 years and as an electrician for his entire adult life. Once he retired, he spent his time camping and fishing with his family. His grandsons especially enjoyed these early morning fishing trips. During family gatherings, ‘peep ja’ was a favorite game. We will greatly miss his gentle ways, his helping hands, infectious laugh and big heart. The viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 29, at 7:00 PM with a devotional at 7:30 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover, Steinbach on Wednesday, May 30, at 2:00 PM, with interment at the Heritage Cemetery.
