On Tuesday, March 24, Elizabeth (Betty) Loeppky (nee Kroeker) died peacefully at her home in Niverville, MB at the age of 88. Betty is survived by her son William Lloyd of Nanaimo, BC; daughter Shirley Darlene of Winnipeg, MB; granddaughter Catherine Pate (Jamie Howison) and great-granddaughter Callaway Stephanson-Pate of Winnipeg, MB; brother William Kroeker (Helen) of Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Elizabeth Kroeker and her brothers Jake, Peter and Isaac. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church in Niverville. Friends may pay their last respects on Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach, and at the church one hour before the service.
