Dad was born in Steinbach, MB Aug 11,1939. Dad married his first wife June 2, 1962 and together they spent a wonderful 44
years. Dad’s main employment was at Landmark Feeds as mill
operator, maintenance and truck driver. He spent some years
working for Landmark Agro, spraying fertilizer and driving truck. He drove truck for other companies as well as operated heavy equipment in road construction. Dad also devoted 27 years of faithful and dedicated service to the RM of Tache Fire Dept.
One of Dad’s greatest enjoyments was spending time with his
children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many fond
memories will be remembered of camping, woodworking,
snowmobiling and family barbeques, but the fondest memories are of going to Mom and Dads for traditional Sunday brunch, which included pancakes and bacon. We will miss you, Dad.
Special thanks to Dr. Reimer and
all the nurses at Cancer Care and Bethesda Hospital. Very special
thanks to Pastor Leonard and Betty Barkman.
