Maria Doerksen (nee Dueck), 62, of Steinbach, MB, formerly of Niverville, passed away June 15, 2011, at Bethesda Place, Steinbach. She is survived by Arnold Doerksen, two daughters, two sons, and their families. She is also survived by two sisters, two brothers, and their families. The Celebration of Life for Maria will take place Thursday, June 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with interment at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, prior to the service. Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, June 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Imagine Mental Health.
