John W. Fehr of Grunthal, passed away peacefully at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, on Friday, April 10, 2009, at the age of 57. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 36 years, Linda; his children: Jeff (Janet), Tammy, Daniel, Kevin (partner Kristy); five grandchildren: Joshua, Denesha, Aaron, Victoria, Samantha and the sixth grandchild on the way. He is also survived by his brothers: Jake (Mary) Fehr and Cornie (Helen) Fehr and their families, his mother-in-law, six sisters-in-law and their families, and three brothers-in-law and their families, and the entire loving EMB Church family of Grunthal. He was predeceased by his parents William and Maria Fehr, three brothers in Mexico, one sister, and two brothers in Ontario. The family would like to thank Dr. Minnaar and all the nurses at Bethesda Hospital; Dr. Reimer and nursing staff at Cancer Care Centre, Steinbach, and to Gary Funk and his staff at Steinbach Wellness Pharmacy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the EMB Church to assist the family with funeral expenses. Viewing will take place at the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church in Grunthal on Monday, April 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with at devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church in Grunthal with interment at the Grunthal Cemetery.
