It is with sadness that the family of Rita Gauthier announces her passing on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in Ste. Anne, MB at the age of 82. She is survived by her children, Henri (Dianne), Roger (Gertrude), Georgette, Alex (Florence), Lucille (Marcel), Mona (Bill) and Suzanne (Guy), 21 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Denis and René and four sisters, Eva, Yvonne, Lorraine and Louise and three sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband William, daughter Jeanine, son Charles, son-in-law René and grandson Don Desrosiers. Rita was born in Ste. Genevieve and lived out most of her life in Ste. Anne. Rita loved meeting and getting to know people of all ages. Her caring nature led her into the role of caregiver to many. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of whom she was very proud. Her memorial service will be held at Ste. Anne Catholic Church in Ste. Anne on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Ash interment at a later date with family.
