Friday, April 24, 2009, after a lengthy baffle with cancer, Magdalene, age 66, passed away suddenly at Bethesda Hospital. She is survived by her son, Vaughn (Jan). She is also survived by her brothers, Walter (Irene), Mel (Lina), her sisters Miriam, Adina, Mary (Guy), and Kathy (John) plus nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Cornelius and Tena Peters; brothers Willy and Dan. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Southland Community Church, PTH 52 W, Steinbach, with interment at Heritage Cemetery.
