On Friday, June 8th, 2007 at the Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg, David D. Barkman of Steinbach, Manitoba, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to be with his Lord at the age of 92 years. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 12th at Mennonite Brethren Church, 340 2nd Street, Steinbach, MB at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Monday at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Heritage Cemetery in Steinbach, MB David was predeceased by his wife Annie in 1999 and a son, Ken in 2003. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Murray (Margaret), Sid (Sylvia), Elaine (Tom) Beckett, (Bonnie), Kelvin (Lucy), Rick (A.J.), Miranda (Brad) Thiessen, 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
