It is with sadness we announce the passing of Ethel Julia Barkman, on July 10, 2011, in Red Deer, AB., at the age of 74. She is survived by her daughters Janice McKinnon and Terri Brigden. She was predeceased by her parents Nick and Julia Barkman. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB, with interment in Kleefeld, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a “no kill” animal shelter of your choice.
