Maria Reimer (nee Giesbrecht) of Tolstoi, MB passed away at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the age of 77 years. She is survived by her husband Henry B. Reimer; children Susan (Lester) Whitman, Anna Reimer, Ben (Hilda), Elizabeth (Harry) Bergen, Jac (Mary), Mary (John) Schroeder, Henry (Elizabeth), Bernie (Helga), Isaac (Susan), Dave (Nettie) and their families as well as by one brother three sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by one son Abe in 1997. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Friday, June 27, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in New Bothwell with interment at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Cemetery in Stuartburn, MB.
