Our father, Peter Schroeder, passed away on July 18, 2009 at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital, at the age of 92. His children are Helen Friesen (Will), Henry Schroeder (Eva), Anna Kehler (Bernie - deceased), Liz Friesen, Tina Siemens (Jakie), Trudy Reimer (Ed), Martin Schroeder (Tina), Erna Wiebe (Terry) and Tony Schroeder (Glenda). Dad also leaves 34 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dad was predeceased by his wife Suzanna, his daughter Susie, an infant daughter Eva, two sons-in-law, Bernie and John, and an infant grandson and granddaughter. The family wishes to thank Dr. Wilfried Kaethler and the nursing staff at Bethesda Hospital for the kind care they gave our Dad in his last days. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover St, Steinbach with viewing prior to the service. Interment at Heritage Cemetery.
