Nettie was born in Chortitz, a small village south west of Winkler, Manitoba, on March 23, 1931. Nettie was predeceased by her sons Milton (1991) and James (2011), parents (Julius & Elizabeth Klassen), brother George, twin sister Betty, sister Marlene, and an infant brother at the age of 7 months. Nettie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Abe of 57 years, daughter Debra (Frank), daughter-in-law Marlene, son Kelvin, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, remaining siblings and their families. Funeral will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Portage Avenue Church, 1420 Portage Ave, Winnipeg at 10:30 a.m. Viewing will be 09:30 to 10:15 a.m. Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
