Obituary of Jeffrey Griffin
With shock and disbelief, we announce the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather, Jeffrey Griffin, of St. Malo, on September 13, 2009, at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB at the age of 52.
He is survived by his wife Kim, his children, Misty (Kyle), Raelee (Jonny), Kira (Stan); his grandchildren Cadence, Tarren, Nash, and Drayden. He is also survived by his three brothers: Keith (Julie), Rodney (Christina), and Robert (Cheryl); his parents-in-law, Jim & Elodie Bordian; his sister-in-law Tanis Bordian and brother-in-law Curtis Bordian, and numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Eleanor Griffin.
Family and friends were very important to Jeff. Most important to him were his kids and grandkids. He was so proud of his girls. He loved playing horse shoes, quading, fishing, welding, and was looking forward to helping friends with the harvest. He loved spending time with family and friends around the fire and in the “guyrage” (you know who you are). Jeff lived life to the fullest, always happy, and willing to give anyone a helping hand. With Jeff, there was never a dull moment.
Cremation has taken place.
The memorial service is Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Friedensthal, MB. Ash interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeff may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of one’s choice.
Rest in peace Dad.
