Anne Friesen of Steinbach, formerly of Friesen Strawberry Farms in Niverville, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Rest Haven Nursing Home at the age of 85 years. She is survived by one daughter, one son and their families as well as by two sisters. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel in 1997. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach on Monday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the chapel prior to the service. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at the Niverville Heritage Cemetery.
