Randy, at the young age of 19 years passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 accidentally on Hwy #59 near Niverville, MB. Randy was born in Colonie Bergthal, Paraguay to Andreas and Lena Wiebe. He is survived by his parents, Andreas and Lena; his brother Orlando; his sisters Janice and Romanda; his grandparents, Abe and Agatha Wiebe; and Gertruda Peters; his girlfriend Dina Polkownikow, as well as numerous other friends and relatives. Randy was predeceased by his grandfather, Herman Peters in February of 1998. Randy worked with his brother in construction and was rarely seen without him by his side. Randy enjoyed hanging out with his friends, teasing his younger sisters and making friends wherever he went. Randy wore a smile on his face wherever he would go. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him. A viewing will be held October 30, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel,150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach. The funeral will be held on October 31 at 1:30 p.m. at the New Bothwell Sommerfelder Mennonite Church on highway #216 with burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Randy’s name to the youth group of the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Grunthal, Manitoba.
