It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother and mémère who left us peacefully on November 17, 2009 at the age of 61. Jeannine will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Réal, her four children, their spouses and 11 grandchildren: Sylvie (René Dumesnil), Dominic, Karine and Kali; Stéphan (Andrée Lussier), Zoé, Zane and Jacy; Donald (Christine Faskerti), Sébastien, Aiden, Kari and Kylie and Chantal (Darrel Barkman) Cameron and another grandchild yet to be born. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers: Lucien (Rachel Courcelles), Rita (Gualbert Nadeau), Jeannette (Guy Désorcy), Pierre (Monique Bonneville), Marie (Ron Kruger), Liliane (Gilles Normandeau), Jean (Virginia Deschutter) and Cécile (Emile Fournier). As well, she leaves behind her in-laws from Quebec: Paul (Huguette), Carmen, Marcel, Lucie (Lucien), Michel, Claude (Danielle). She also leaves many nieces, nephews and great friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Philippe and Ida (Levacque) and her father and mother in-law, Armand and Germaine (Labelle). Jeannine lived all her life in La Broquerie where she was a volunteer for numerous organisations. Friends and family were always important to Jeannine and she went out of her way to make others feel welcomed and loved, always greeting them with a warm, contagious smile. The family would like to thank the medical and support staff at the Ste-Anne Hospital for their kindness and good care of Mom. A very special thank you to Soeur Irène Rioux for her numerous visits and precious support. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Saint-Joachim Catholic Church in La Broquerie. The interment of the cremated remains will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave.; Wpg., MB R3E 0V9 or Ste-Anne Hospital, 52 St. Gerard St.; Ste. Anne, MB R5H 1C4.
