Peacefully on Sunday, November. 22, 2009 with family by his side, Jack Bercier passed away at the Bethesda Hospital at the age of 71. Jack is survived by his wife Ruth (nee Schalla) of 1 ½ years, his five children Dick (Carol), Don (Esther), Greg (Lisa), Lisa, Pat (Stephanie) and by his 13 grandchildren and three great grandsons. He will also be missed by Ruth’s children Stan (Cheryl), Bev (Lorne), Marvin, Ang, Paul (Julie), Ellie (Raymond) and many step-grandchildren. Jack is also survived by three sisters Francis, Ruth, and Norma. He was predeceased by his first wife Tina, parents and several siblings. Dad enjoyed playing his guitar, dancing, fishing, truck driving and singing for his grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at the Cornerstone Bible Church, 290 First Street, Steinbach on Thursday, Nov. 26 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing prior to the service. A second funeral service will be held at the Arden United Church, Arden, Manitoba on Friday, Nov. 27 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Arden Community Cemetery.
