Peacefully in his home in Kelowna on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Rita of 54 years; daughters, Sharon (Kent) Campbell, Lisa (Dennis) Loeppky and Kathy (Ron) Giesbrecht; sons, Allan (Ruby) and Paul (Gloria); thirteen grandchildren; siblings, Leonard, Mary, Tena and Helen. Jacob was predeceased by: parents, Jacob and Katherine and grandson, Dominic. The funeral service will be held Monday, December 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Word of Life Mission Church, 233 3rd St S, Niverville, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gospel Union Mission, 320 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 3C7, would be greatly appreciated.
