Obituary of Gertrude Theresa Lutz
GERTRUDE THERESA LUTZ (NEE BORSBOOM)
It is with very heavy hearts that we say farewell to Gertie’s cherished spirit; she was loved by so many. September 25, 2011,f with loved ones by her side Gertie’s sprit descended into Heaven.
Though her passing is sad the memories she leaves will always bring smiles to those that loved her. Missing Gertie are her husband Clarence “Edward”, her children Bill, Kathy (Kevin), Brian (Veronica), her first grandchild Terri (Oumad) as well as grandchildren Jessica, Kimberly, Jennifer, Melisa, and Anthony. Gertie’s great grandchildren Madison, Natalia and Antonio know how loving she was and will grow up with memories and many stories of Grandma.
Gertie came from a large loving family of 12 and will be missed by her sisters Theresa (Raymond), Anne (Walter), Elizabeth (Mike) and her baby sister Barbara (George) who was always there for her throughout the years, her sisters-in-law Shirley and Marlene, her brothers John (Thea), Bill (Diane), her brothers-in-law Max, Lionel and Jerry as well as the numerous nieces and nephews, and her very dear and close friends Janet (Marcel), Lorette (Andy) and Teddy who came to bid her farewell.
Mom, your infectious smile and beautiful nature will be missed.
To welcome Gertie to eternal peace are her parents Kathleen and William, sisters Mary, Ida and Kathy and her brothers George and Edward.
To complete Mom’s journey and fulfill her wish, family and close friends are welcome to join her children in a celebration of her life at her favorite place, Seasons Ranch in Sidney, Manitoba on October 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
