Obituary of Nettie Rolgalsky

Peacefully on September 27, 2011 Nettie Rogalsky passed away at St. Norbert Personal Care Home at the age of 88. Our aunt was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1924. She grew up in the Glenlea area and at the age of 35 began a career at the Concordia Hospital, working in the areas of Radiology, EKG and later as a lab technician, in charge of Histology. In 1986 she retired, after a very rewarding 30 years. Travelling, church activities and being a helping hand to many friends filled her retirement years. In 2002 she moved into Lindenwood Manor and very much enjoyed being part of that community until 10 months ago. Aunt Nettle, survived by sister-in-law, Helen Rogalsky will be fondly remembered by all of her nieces and nephews and their families. Viewing will be on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Glenlea Mennonite Church, Glenlea, MB with interment at Glenlea Cemetery followed by the service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive; Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9 or Mennonite Collegiate Institute, Box 250, Gretna, MB R0G 0V0
