Herman Wiebe was born May 12, 1930 in Barkfield, Manitoba to Mary (Funk) Wiebe. He passed away January 23, 2010 at his home in Grunthal. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Elma (Harvey) Dyck, Nettie (Martin) Broesky, Diane (Andy) Fehr, Mary Ann (Todd) LeRoy, George (Sheryl nee Kornelsen), Albert (Frieda nee Schroeder), 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Helena, two daughters, Diana and Ruthie, one grandson, Warren, son of Harvey and Elma Dyck, two sisters and his parents. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach on Tuesday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grunthal Bergthaler Church with interment to follow at Grunthal Cemetery.
