Gerald Thiessen of Lorette, formerly of Steinbach, Manitoba passed away at his residence on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the age of 48. He is survived by his parents Jacob and Sarah Thiessen, one sister, two brothers and their families. A visitation and gathering of friends will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Mennonite Brethren Church, corner of Lumber and 2nd Street, Steinbach on Saturday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Heritage Cemetery.
