Obituary of Jacob Klippenstein

Peacefully on April 8, 2010 at St. Pierre Hospital, Jacob R. Klippenstein, 88 years, of Niverville, Manitoba, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour. He will be lovingly remembered by seven sons and two daughters, Henry (Anne), Peter (Betty), Jake (Irene), Gerhard, Dan (Linda), Maggie (Dave Stobbe), John (Lina), Neil (Sharon), Liz, 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, one brother, three sisters and many other relatives and friends. Jacob was predeceased by his wife Anna in 2004 and one daughter-in-law, Arla, in 2005. He was also predeceased by his parents, Henry and Maria, three brothers and four sisters. Jacob was a man of deep spiritual convictions, spending much time in prayer and God’s Word. His selfless commitment to the family and the church left an example to be followed. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the home care and medical staff of Niverville and the staff at St. Pierre hospital for their compassionate care. We are grateful to the church, relatives and friends for their prayers and support and to the Birchwood Funeral Chapel of Steinbach for taking care of arrangements. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30. The funeral service will be held at the Word of Life Mission Church, 233 3rd St S., Niverville on Friday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Hespeler Cemetery in Niverville, MB.
