Obituary of Ernest Troisfontaines
On April 29, 2010, after 82 wonderful years, I succumbed to kidney failure at Bethesda Hospital.
I leave to mourn my passing my wife of 60 years, Pierrette, my daughters Diane (John Wagner), and Yvette (Reuben Neumier), my five wonderful grandsons: Paul, 18, Johann, 17, Joel, 16, Sebastian, 16, and Phillip, 14.
I was predeceased by my parents, Ernest and Idalie, my brother Jules, and my little sister Mariette.
Born and raised in Belgium, I lived the war, moved to France, met my wife, and immigrated to Manitoba in 1948. We settled on a dairy farm near La Broquerie, where I proudly watched my farm and daughters grow. I enjoyed travelling to farm auctions, and puttering around in my farm shop. Life in Manitoba was great, but my biggest complaint of all: Life is too short.
No public funeral service is needed. I will live on forever in your memories.
