Obituary of Beverly Lovern Robinson

Peacefully on May 18, 2010 Mom passed away at the Gimli Community Health Center. She was born August 3, 1930 to Charles and Mabel Krumm in Star City, SK, the 2nd oldest of four children. Mom married our father Edward Schneider July 16th, 1952 and moved to Nelson, BC. Later they moved to Flin Flon and then in 1958, they relocated to Snow Lake, where they raised five children. Mom’s years in Snow Lake were very busy. She worked full-time for the Snow Lake News and was the first adult in Snow Lake to return to high school to complete her grade 10-12 and proudly obtained her diploma at the age of 39. She was an active volunteer in many clubs and her church. In 1977 Mom moved to Winnipeg. She enjoyed crosswords and was always on a yearly shuffleboard league. She leaves to mourn, her two sons, Grant (Alison), Wade (Michelle), and three daughters, Cauline (Daryl), Tracy (Herb), and Brenda (Jamie), 10 grandchildren, Hilary, Jamie, Chelsey, Tyson, Ashley, Dayn, Tegan, Shyla, Brenna and Leah and four great-grandchildren, Astrid, Kylee, Khail and Rheanna. She was predeceased by husbands, Ed and Ben; grandchildren, Tamara and Kelly; father, Charles; mother, Mabel; sisters, Mona and Velma and brother, Neil. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Aljafari, caregivers and all the hospital staff at the Gimli Hospital for the wonderful loving care she received in her last days. If friends so desire, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
