Surrounded by family, Darren John James passed away on Saturday, May 29th, 2010 at the age of 37. Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife Sherri, parents John and Shirley James, sister Kelly James (Todd), brother Chris James (Anita), mother-in-law Marlene Johnson, father-in-law Denis Gisiger, and brother-in-law Jason Reimer (Marlow). Also left to miss Uncle Darren are Christian, Maddison, Dawson, Brenden, Braydon, Trystin, John, Micheal, Carmen, Edwin, and many "adopted" nieces and nephews. Darren was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a fighter who viewed any obstacle as a challenge. To have known and loved him makes all of us the luckiest people on the planet. We will miss his quick comments, his love of life, and his giggle. A cremation has taken place. Darren's ashes will be honored with a private family service. A celebration of Darren's life will take place at the Woodridge Inn in Woodridge, Manitoba on Sunday, June 6th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. All are welcome. The family wishes to thank the staff of H6 and MICU at the Health Sciences Centre for their exceptional care of Darren.
