Peacefully at his home in Winnipeg, with his wife by his side, John completed his journey here on earth to be with his Lord, on Tuesday, June 6th, 2000 at the age of 83 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Anny, his children John (Judy), Ozzie (Joanne), Karin (Art) Pauls and Ursula (Peter) Krahn, and his 11 grandchildren. John is also survived by his sister Anna (Henry) Hildebrandt, and sisters-in-law Gretel Rempel and Susan Rempel. He was predeceased by his brothers Abram and Peter. Funeral services will be held at the North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch St., Winnipeg, on Friday, June 9th at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. M. Albert Durksen officiating. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Viewing prior to the service.
