Obituary of Angeline Saindon

ANGELINE SAINDON With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mom, Angeline Saindon, 85, on Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Ste. Anne Hospital with her children and friends by her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas; daughter, Diane; and five sisters. She will lovingly be remembered by her partner and companion (Lucien) and her children: Denis (Fernande) Saindon, Lillian (Jim) Siwicki, Lucienne (Don) Warman, Edward (Barb) Saindon, Roland (April) Saindon, Laurie (Terry) Lewindowski, Lise Saindon (Antoine Richard), Lionel (Theresa) Saindon, 25 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Emilia Belisle, Celeste Therrien and Irene Dumont Angeline was born in East Richer on February 13, 1926 and has lived in the town of Richer for the past 68 years. She was a loving mother and was very proud of her family as we were of her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and we are eternally grateful for the way she taught us to live life to the fullest. She has touched many lives with her kindness, devotion and her caring manner. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. “May the wings of the Angels guide you to the open arms of your loved ones in heaven, till we meet again, we love you” Her family would like to express genuine gratitude to the many caregivers that brightened her day at the Ste. Anne Hospital. Special thanks are extended to Dr. DeMoissac, Dr. Duval and Sister Rioux for their care and compassion during her stay. Pallbearers will be Rene Saindon, Michael Siwicki, David Warman, Mike Saindon, Bryan Saindon and Rémi LaFrerière. The funeral service will be held at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne on Friday, December 2 at 1:30 p.m. with prayers at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Fr. Gabriel Leveque officiating. Interment to follow in the Richer Cemetery.
