Peacefully on October 4th at the Vita Personal Care Home, Ida Mary Rozsa, formerly of Sprague, Manitoba passed away at the age of 90 years. Ida was predeceased by her husband Andy, son Ernest and great-granddaughter Lacey. She leaves to cherish her memory 3 daughters: Emma & Ted Slusarczyk of Steinbach, Velma & John Stoyka of Winnipeg, MaryAnn Prevost of Winnipeg, 3 sons; Ronald, John (Gail) and Andy (Lynda), daughter-in-law Ruby & Earl all of Sprague, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Ida’s life was one of giving of herself and shared all she had including her smile and great sense of humor. Ida was born in Woodridge, MB. to John & Mary Bodnar. She was married there and then moved to Sprague to raise her family where she remained until January of this year. The family wished to thank the staff at the Vita Personal Care Home and Dr. Azar for their thoughtful care during her stay. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in South Junction. Interment immediately following at Sprague Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if anyone desires, donations may be made in her memory to the Sprague Evergreen Seniors Club where Ida spent her fondest times with her many friends.
