After 91 years, Henry peacefully passed into the arms of his Savior, on November 26, 2011. Predeceased by his loving wife Lena (nee Schlichting) and by two brothers and three sisters. He will be sadly missed by his children: Martin, David (Carol), Ruth (Rick Hall) and Hilda (Scott Grant). Grandchildren: Sheri McKnight, Shannon (Danny Legge), Kristen, Kimberly, Abby, Tessa. Great-grandson: Dustin, as well as two surviving sisters, Sarah Falk and Betty Buller. Funeral service to be held Thursday, December 1, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at Springstein Mennonite Church, Springstein, MB, with viewing prior to service. Interment to follow. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Thorlakson and the staff at Victoria General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
