Maria (Mary) Fast, 101, of Steinbach passed away at the Rest Haven Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She is survived by one son and his family, two sisters, two brothers. She was predeceased by her husbands David Penner and John D. Fast. The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Tuesday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church Cemetery.
