On February 22, 2001 at the age of 70, Emma, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. Emma will be greatly missed by her husband of 48 years, Theodore, son Kim and his wife Denise and two granddaughters Jocelyn and Natasha. She is survived by three brothers John, Andy and Ronnie Rozsa and two sisters Velma Stoyka and Mary-Anne Prevost, their families and numerous friends. She is predeceased by her mother Ida Rosza (October 4, 2000), father Andrew Rozsa (1960) and brother Ernie Rozsa (1982). Mom was born in South Junction, MB on January 31, 1931. She married her “Teddy Bear” on April 19, 1952 and settled in Sprague, MB. She moved with her husband and young son to Steinbach in 1972. Mom loved to cook and so spent her glory years working in various restaurants. She always had a warm smile and kind word for everyone she met. We will all miss you deeply, Mom. As family we would like to extend our appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Health Sciences Centre Neurology Ward, Cancer Care Manitoba, and the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital staff for their care, kindness and support. The viewing will take place at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr. in Steinbach on Monday, February 26, 2001, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Al Maier officiating Interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
