Jimmy Bohdan Swidersky, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB., at the age of 54 years. He is survived by his mother Joyce, his son J.J., siblings Carol (Robert) and Andy (Shelley). He is also survived by nephews Mason, Madison, Kyle and niece Mandy. Also left to cherish his memory is J.J.’s mom Micheline, Marie and Daniel. Jimmy was predeceased by his father Bohdan and nephew Shayne. Jim was born and raised in the Zhoda area. He enjoyed and cared for his family above all else. His second love was his community which he served for years as a Councillor and Reeve. He worked diligently to get things done in his municipality. The next time you use your cell phone in the area, you can thank Jim. He was instrumental in getting cell service to the RM. Jim made many lasting friendships throughout his life. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for all the care and compassion shown to Jim and the family.
