Margaret Born, nee Peters, beloved wife of George, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Steinbach, MB. Margaret was born in the Ukraine, Russia on October 20, 1923. With her family, she immigrated to Canada in 1930. She married George on December 27, 1942. She is survived by three sons, five daughters and their families; Miriam (Robbis), Elvira (Peter), Arnold (Lesya), Sandra (Bruce), John (Julia), Margaret (Mel), Rose (Wayne) and Tom. She was predeceased by one son, one granddaughter, and three grandsons. The family would like to express their gratitude for the exceptional care our mother received from the staff at Rest Haven, including Dr. Curtis Krahn, and Michelle Neufeld for her years of devotion in helping our mom look her best. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave, Steinbach. Viewing will be prior to the service. Interment at Memorial Cemetery.
