Peacefully on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the St. Pierre Hospital, Joseph Albert Chipilski of Grunthal went to be with the Lord his Savior. He was born February 14, 1916 in Ladywood, MB and grew up in the Niverville area, where he lived with his wife and five children until moving to Grunthal. He is survived by his wife Marie (nee Friesen), four sons and one daughter: Rene of Lac du Bonnet, Louis (Mary) of Niverville, Raymond (Wendy) of Tourond, Annette (Brian) Krahn of Mitchell, Fern (Lorie) of Steinbach. He was predeceased by his parents and two daughters-in-law. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Catholic Church, 365 Loewen Blvd, Steinbach with interment at Hespeler Cemetery in Niverville In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald Street; Wpg., MB R3L 0K6
