Obituary of John Neufeld

<p>It is with immense sadness that the family of John Neufeld announces his peaceful passing on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sarah (nee Enns), his sons Tim (Lois), Mark (Lori), his daughters Tammy (Ron), Sharon and his loving grandchildren, Michael (Megan), Jonah, Jaxon, Hanna (Marlon) and Kaylee.&nbsp; He is also survived by his sister Martha and brother Bill, as well as many extended family members</p> <p>Dad was born on December 4, 1935 to John &amp; Katharina Neufeld and grew up in Niverville.&nbsp; He met Sarah in Winkler in 1964 and they married on January 16, 1965.&nbsp;</p> <p>He was self-employed for most of his adult life and worked very hard at whatever he did but ultimately, it was his woodworking that was his passion and what most people knew him for.&nbsp; He always had a story to tell of his travel with work through the years.&nbsp; In his younger years he enjoyed golfing, riding his horse King Klancey and on Saturday nights you would always find him watching Hockey Night in Canada.</p> <p>Our family would like to extend our appreciation to the staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for their exceptional care.</p> <p>You left us beautiful memories.</p> <p>Your love is still our guide.</p> <p>And though we cannot see you,</p> <p>you&rsquo;re always at our side.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church, 430 Third Street, Steinbach, MB.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
