Yvonne Marie Audette (nee Proulx) Peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2006 at home with her husband and children by her side, Yvonne completed her journey to Heaven. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband (Hunk) of 49 years Marcel. She will be deeply missed by her children Ralph, Brenda, Raymond (Darlene), Reynald (Judy), Donna (Roger). Her memory will live forever in the hearts of the grandchildren, Danielle, André, J. R. (Patty), Rachelle (Mark), Chrissie, Tom, Vanica, Michael, Katelyn Rae, Richard, Rayanne and her two great grandsons Merrick and Tristen. She leaves behind her beloved brothers and sisters Aurore (Marcel), Oram (Verna), Aurele (Marie Anna), Emile (Emma), Norm (Mary), Roger (Denise), Rene (Dea), Rhea (Len), Evelyn (Flo), Paul JR and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her son Randy, her parents Paul and Diana Proulx, her brother Horace (Anette) Proulx, her mother and father-in-law Dedace and Cecile Audette. Yvonne was born on March 16, 1940 in a small community near Ste. Anne, MB called La Coulee. She was one of 12 children and loved to share fond memories of her childhood adventures with her grandchildren. She met Marcel, the love of her life, and they married in 1958. Their marriage was a beautiful example of love, faith and commitment. Mom loved the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed her log home and nature trail rides, bonfires with her friends and family. She created a happy loving home filled with lots of warmth, laughter and delicious home cooked meals at our family gatherings. Mom was a strong intelligent and compassionate woman. Family was the most important aspect in her life and she unconditionally loved and supported all of us. Mom’s strong faith gave her the inner strength to face many of life’s challenges with dignity ad grace. Funeral services will be held Wed, Oct 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne., MB. A memorial video will be shown at 9:45 a.m. prior to the service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. J. Minnaar, Dr. D. Reimer and palliative care nurses Debbie Krahn, Anne Plett. Our home care nurses and aides Guylaine, Yvonne, Clara, Elaine and Pat. Your care giving was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to relatives and friends whose visits, prayers, love and caring helped to make Mom’s last journey a peacefully one.
