Margaret Falk, age 77 of the Woodhaven Manor, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2001 at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Clarence (Barb), sisters Tina Doerksen and Eva Falk, brothers John and Henry and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Henry Falk, April 27, 2001 and by two daughters in infancy. Margaret was born on the family farm at Rhineland, MB on November 29, 1923. She and Henry were married on July 14, 1942 near Niverville, where they resided until 1948. At that time they relocated to Paraguay and lived there until their return to Manitoba in 1986. Margaret was a very devoted and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and helping her family. She will always be remembered for her smile and positive spirit. Funeral service was held on Thursday, September 13, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at the Steinbach C.M.C. with Bishop Dick Wiebe and Rev. John Wiebe officiating. Interment took place in Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., MB. R3C 2B7. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kaethler and nursing staff of Bethesda Hospital for their excellent care. Also a special thank you to the home care workers and staff at Woodhaven Manor for their loving care and friendship to mother.
