Under the loving care of his family at his home near Grunthal, MB on the morning of Thursday, December 22, Jacob Reimer Fehr, age 83, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour. The eldest son of Isaac and Justina Fehr, Jacob was born on May 27, 1928 in the R.M. of Stanley. He married Katherine Friesen on July 22, 1962. Jacob is survived by his loving wife Katherine, daughters Kathy and Teresa (Brad) Toews, sons Jake, Nathan, Tim, Theo, four granddaughters, two grandsons, three brothers and one sister. He was predeceased by four sisters and one brother. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gospel for Asia, 245 King Street East, Stoney Creek, ON L8G 1L9 Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Tuesday, December 27 at 7:00 and at the Chapel prior to the Service. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with interment at Grunthal Cemetery.
