It is with very deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, John Wyryha on Friday, October 8, 2010 with his family by his side. John had a very short but courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind a wife of nearly 43 years, MaryAnne, two daughters Dorothy (Neil) and Christine (Wayne) and a son Jason (Edite) as well as all his grandchildren Christopher, Phillip, Alexandrea, Cinjin, Guage, Payton, Glacier and Jett, as well as many family, friends and children from a first marriage. John was predeceased by his daughter Shirley. John was born in Sarto; moved to Winnipeg, Niverville, Vita and retired in Steinbach. John will be best remembered for always having time to help family and friends, but his immediate family will most remember him for being a multitasker. A wonderful husband, amazing father who never judged but loved unconditionally and a fantastic caring grandfather/Gida who cherished every minute with his grandchildren. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Sarto. Prayers will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach on Wednesday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m. Interment at the Parish Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
