Alvin Janzen, 74, of Steinbach, formerly of Blumenort, passed away November 5, 2010, at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette, three sons, and their families. He is also survived by five sisters, one brother, and their families. The funeral will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with interment at Blumenort EMC Cemetery. Viewing will be on Monday, November 8, at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m., at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422, Main Street, Steinbach, and at the chapel prior to the service.
