It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Helen Dueck of Grunthal, dear wife of Abe Dueck. She passed away peacefully at her home on November 22, 2006 at the age of 55 years and entered into her Eternal Home where her heart longed to be. Helen is survived by her devoted and loving husband Abe, her sister Nettie(Leonard ),her brothers Henry, Abe(Tina), Jake(Betty), her in-laws John(Helen), Anne(Ed), Minna(Abe), Bill(Karen), Verna(Glen), Martha(Rod), Adeline(Eldon), Albert(Debbie), Leonard(Darlene) and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves to mourn her special treasured children Cornie and Cheryl(grandchildren Matthew,Jason,Rachel, Nathanael and Caleb), children Bill and Ruth (grandchildren Trevor and Mikey). Helen was predeceased by her parents Henry and Katherina Unger, her sister and brother-in-law Anne and Henry Suderman. Abe and Helen got married September 6, 1969. They bought and lived on a farm in the Mitchell area for 28 years. Helen and Abe had a special gift and together they fostered thirteen children. Later they sold the farm and moved to the Sarto area where she lived at the time of her passing. A “Celebration of her Life” will be held Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11 am., at Steinbach CMC with reception to follow in the lower auditorium. Burial at the Randolph Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Sunday November 26, 2006 at 7 pm.,with devotional to follow at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Grobler and the staff at Bethesda Hospital for the care, concern and love they showed. If friends so desire donations in Helena’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
